A violin.
A familiar melody.
A reason to smile.
I’m Marcus Cotton, a violinist based in Temecula, California. I started playing when I was 11, and while my foundation is in classical music, I’ve always loved finding out what else the violin can do.
These days, that means playing pop songs and movie soundtracks, the music people recognize and connect with. I’ve performed at weddings throughout Temecula and at local wineries, including Oak Mountain and Europa. Every setting is a little different, and that’s part of what I enjoy about playing live.
My favorite part is seeing someone recognize a song they love. That connection is what keeps me excited to play and share more music.
